Damp-proofing

Refined Renovations are remedial rising damp contractors who have been approved by Sovereign. Sovereign only approve contractors who have demonstrated that they are capable of carrying out work to a high standard, consistently.

 

Tool of the Trade:

A specially designed pump for use in the Sovereign system of chemical injection damp coursing.

The pump provides high pressure injection allowing rapid, total saturation of several layers of stone or brick simultaneously.

  

Technical definition:

The standard Sovereign Injection Fluid is based on Polyoxoaluminium Stearate in a Low Odour White Spirit. It is injected into brickwork or masonry under pressure. In the course of a few days the solvent evaporates leaving a gel which crystallises to form a water repellent barrier impervious to the ingress of capillary moisture.

The standard treatment is guaranteed for 10 years.

Additional guarantees are available at low cost for 10, 20 and 30 years.
